In 8,343 participants followed for up to 17 years, the study links high-abundance serum proteins with cardiovascular outcomes and mortality and develops a proteomic risk score. The work was carried out with Eliptica’s involvement and demonstrates how population-scale serum proteomics can support cardiovascular risk stratification and biomarker discovery.
