The study uses high-throughput plasma proteomics to compare infection states and identify protein patterns associated with parasite burden and host response. Co-led by Eliptica CSO and co-founder Markus Ralser, it illustrates the use of blood proteomics for disease classification and biomarker discovery in an infectious-disease setting.
